SUNFLOWER COUNTY, Miss (WJTV) – A Terry man was killed during a multi-vehicle crash in Sunflower County.

The crash occurred on Highway 82 around 12:35 a.m. on Saturday, October 19.

Officials with the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) said a 2023 Chevrolet Camaro was traveling west on the highway on the eastbound side when it collided with a 2009 Honda Accord that was traveling east.

Troopers said a 2022 Dodge Ram was also traveling east on the highway and collided with the rear of the Honda Accord.

According to MHP officials, the driver of the Chevrolet, Endre Matthews, 49, of Terry, received fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene.

The crash remains under investigation by MHP.
