KOSCIUSKO, Miss. (WJTV) – Kosciusko police are investigating after skeletal remains were found behind a home.
According to Kosciusko Police Chief Greg Collins, a resident was walking behind his home on Woodland Street on Sunday, October 20 and discovered the remains.
The remains were collected by the Mississippi Bureau of Investigation (MBI) crime scene unit.
Collins said the remains were sent to the Mississippi State Crime Lab for DNA testing, which could take several months.
