Couple wanted for multiple thefts in Rankin County

RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Agents with the Mississippi Agriculture & Livestock Theft Bureau (MALTB) are searching for a man and his girlfriend in connection to multiple thefts in Rankin County.

Authorities said Richland and Florence police have taken numerous reports mini storage units being burglarized in the county within the past 30 days.

The MALTB became involved in the investigation when eight custom-made saddles were stolen from one of the storage units.

The suspects have been identified as Charles Anthony Birdno II and his girlfriend, Leigh Anne Huff. They’re wanted for burglary-commercial, grand larceny and theft of property-tack equipment.
