HINDS COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Hinds County supervisors and leaders in Byram announced significant development work on the Byram-Clinton Parkway.
A ribbon cutting ceremony was held on Thursday that unveiled the site of the new waterfall and marker on the parkway in Byram. The completion of the site gives travelers of sense of what’s to come once the project is complete.
“When I came in office, the project had stalled. So, I worked with Byram to get it back started. We worked diligently to get this were it was supposed to be. So, we have finished it. I’m glad it’s done. We have more projects. We’re working with Byram to get the county moving,” said Supervisor Wanda Evers, District 4.
Once complete, the parkway will connect Jackson, Byram and Clinton.
