JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police announced a man was arrested in connection to a homicide that occurred in April 2024.

Detective Tommie Brown said Benjamin Olowo-Ake was arrested and charged with murder.

The shooting happened on Medgar Evers Boulevard near Coleman Avenue on April 21. The victim, Taboris Jefferson, was pronounced deceased at a local hospital.
