WASHINGTON COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A bicyclist died after being hit by a truck in Washington County.

The incident occurred on Highway 438 just before 1:15 p.m. on Sunday, November 10.

Officials with the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP) said a 2024 Toyota Tundra was traveling east on the highway when it collided with a bicycle ridden by Patrick Ford, 60, of Arcola.

According to MHP, Ford was transported to the Delta Health System Medical Center in
Greenville where he later died from his injuries.

This crash remains under investigation by MHP.
