JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are assisting Atmos Energy after a natural gas leak occurred in the city.

Detective Tommie Brown said Precinct 3 officers are assisting Atmos with blocking off the area of Clinton Boulevard and Dixon Road.

The public should avoid the area if possible.
