JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson firefighters responded to fire at a storage unit facility.

The fire started at the facility on Highway 18 around 7:00 a.m. on Monday, November 18.

Assistant Fire Chief Patrick Armon said the same facility caught fire a couple of months ago.

“We haven’t gotten to that point where we’re investigating to see cause at this time. But the last time I can tell you what the findings were, and they were that the fire was started from human involvement, meaning that someone was inside or someone started the fire,” he said.

Armon expects it will take firefighters most of the day to put out the fire.
