JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson State University (JSU) will host the 2024 SWAC Football Championship game against the Southern Jaguars.
According to the Southwestern Athletic Conference (SWAC), the Tigers earned the rights to host the game after defeating Alabama State 16-10 on Saturday, November 16. The Jaguars defeated Arkansas-Pine Bluff 31-9.
This is the second time in the past three seasons that JSU and Southern will meet in the title game.
The SWAC Football Championship game is scheduled to be played on Saturday, December 7 at Mississippi Veterans Memorial Stadium in Jackson at 1:00 p.m. CT on ESPN2.
Tickets are on sale at GoJSUTigers.com/Tickets and in-person at the Veterans Memorial Stadium Box Office and the Lee E. Williams Athletics and Assembly Center Box Office. General admission tickets will be $50 leading up to the game and $55 on game day, while reserved seats will be $70 in advance and $75 on game day. Box seats are $90 in advance and $95 on game day, with kids five and under admitted free.
