How gas prices have changed in Mississippi in the last week

By Stacker Nov 23, 2024 | 6:39 AM

Gasoline prices fell several cents over the past week as demand “plunged,” according to AAA.

The national average hasn’t dipped below $3 as analysts forecast just yet, but drivers will still enjoy some of the lowest gas prices in years as they hit the road for Thanksgiving. A GasBuddy survey indicates 72% of Americans will road trip to their Thanksgiving destinations this holiday season.

“We expect prices to remain seasonally low leading up to the holidays, making road trips a more affordable option for millions of Americans,” GasBuddy analyst Patrick De Haan said in a statement.

Stacker compiled statistics on gas prices in Mississippi. Gas prices are as of November 22.
