JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A brother and sister from Clinton were sentenced on Tuesday for their actions in a murder for hire plot.
According to court documents, Joshua Druid Bryan, 29, and Regan Emily Bryan, 30, sought to hire a hit man to kill their stepfather in order to obtain life insurance proceeds.
Prosecutors said Regan Emily Bryan was sentenced to 65 months in prison. She previously pled guilty to one count of conspiracy to commit murder for hire.
According to prosecutors, Joshua Druid Bryan was sentenced to 120 months in prison. He was previously found guilty of conspiracy to commit murder for hire, and murder for hire following a trial that concluded on December 15, 2023.
The Bureau of ATF investigated the case.
