JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a young man was shot multiple times.

The shooting occurred at an abandoned home on Sykes Road around 6:30 a.m. on Tuesday, December 3.

The unidentified victim was shot multiple times at the location, according to Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade. He said the victim is expected to recover from his injuries.
