BRANDON, Miss. (WJTV) – Brandon residents and fans of the high school football team lined the streets on Thursday to send-off the Brandon Bulldogs.
The football team traveled to Hattiesburg on Thursday to compete for the MHSAA Class 7A State Championship.
The Bulldogs, 12-1 and the No. 1 seed in Region 3, will meet 13-0 Tupelo, the No. 1 seed in Region 2.
Brandon is seeking its first State Football Championship in its fourth trip to the big game. Tupelo hopes to secure its second state title in school history.
The game will be played at 7:30 p.m. CT on Thursday, December 5 at M.M. Roberts Stadium on the University of Southern Mississippi campus.
