PEARL RIVER COUNTY, Miss. (WHLT) – The woman accused of killing her estranged husband outside a Mississippi courthouse has been denied bond.
WXXV reported Tanya Saucier appeared in court on Thursday, December 19. She has been held in the Pearl River County Jail since the shooting occurred.
The shooting happened outside the Pearl River County Chancery Courthouse in Poplarville around 12:15 p.m. on Tuesday, December 17.
Pearl River County deputies identified the victim as James Ray Saucier, of Poplarville. He died at the scene.
According to the Pearl River County Jail’s website, Tanya Saucier has been charged with murder.
The shooting is being investigated by the Pearl River County Sheriff’s Office.
