Man charged with murder in connection to Natchez death

NATCHEZ, Miss, (WJTV) – Natchez Police linked a man to a woman’s death over the weekend.

Jacqueline Scott fell from the top of the Natchez bluff near Clifton Avenue Sunday. On Tuesday evening, the Natchez Police Department announced that it charged 51-year-old Corted Kildrick Smith with Murder in connection to Scott’s death.

Smith is being held without bond pending arraignment. This is a developing story.
