MADISON, Miss, (WJTV) – The Madison Police Department needs your help to find who shot two horses, resulting in one dying.

On Wednesday, officers went to The Reunion Horse Stables in Madison upon a report of two horses being shot. One horse died from its injuries on the scene. The other was taken to a local veterinary clinic and is expected to recover.

Officers believe that the shooting occurred between 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday and 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday. If you have any information related to this incident, please call the Madison Police Department at (601) 856-6111 and ask to speak to an investigator.
