JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Officials with the Jackson Public School District (JPS) announced Jim Hill High School will resume in-person learning on Friday, January 10.
They said the heating has been restored at the school. However, Forest Hill High School will continue virtual learning while efforts to restore heat at the building are ongoing.
Wilkins Elementary students and staff will continue reporting to New Horizon Church, while Shirley Elementary students and staff will report to the College of Science, Engineering, and Technology at Jackson State University (JSU).
Buses will operate on regular schedules, transporting students between home, school, and each alternate location. Breakfast and lunch will be served at both JSU and New Horizon.
