JONES COUNTY, Miss. (WHLT) – A Jones County woman escaped from a house fire early Sunday morning.
The fire occurred in the 100 block of Township Road just before 3:00 a.m. on January 12.
Officials with the Jones County Fire Council said firefighters found flames coming from the home when they arrived at the scene.

According to officials, the homeowner was able to escape without any injuries. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
