CLINTON, Miss. (WJTV) – Clinton police arrested a man and a woman in connection to an armed robbery at Arby’s.
The incident occurred at the restaurant in the 300 block of Highway 80 East on Monday, January 13.
When officers arrived at the scene, they discovered that a female employee had entered the restaurant and was confronted by a male suspect who was already inside.
Police said the man was armed with a handgun and demanded the employee’s purse. They said he attempted to obtain additional money before he ran away from the restaurant. The employee was not injured during the incident.
Police identified the suspect as Marshall Johnson, 47, of Jackson, through surveillance video and other evidence. He was arrested Monday evening near Bullard Street.
According to Clinton police, the second suspect, Andrayia Davis, 43, of Jackson, was arrested on Tuesday, January 14. She is believed to be an employee of the Arby’s in Clinton.
