NATCHEZ, Miss. (WJTV) – Natchez police arrested a 20-year-old man in connection to a New Year’s Day homicide.

Natchez Police Chief Cal Green said officers arrested and charged Treveyon Coach, of Natchez, with murder.

Coach is accused of killing Jalen Griffin, 21, during a shooting on Dumas Drive on January 1, 2025. Another person was injured during the shooting.

Green said she expects more arrests in the case.
