HAZLEHURST, Miss. (WJTV) – A man was killed during a hit-and-run in Hazlehurst, police said.

The incident occurred on Highway 28 near the BlueSky gas station on Monday, January 20.

Hazlehurst police said the victim, Billy Williams, 55, was struck and killed by a pickup truck. They said the truck left the scene and is believed to have damage to the front of the vehicle.
