JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police announced a man has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting.
Jackson Police Chief Joseph Wade said Sannone Jackson, 42, was arrested on Tuesday, February 4 with assistance from the U.S. Marshals Service.
Jackson is accused of shooting Jemar Brooks near Livingston Road on Saturday, February 1. Brooks was transported to a local hospital in critical condition. He died from his injuries on Sunday, February 2.

Wade said Jackson and Brooks knew each other. Jackson is expected to make his initial appearance in court on Wednesday, February 5.
