ATTALA COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – The two victims, who died during a house fire in Attala County in December 2024, have been identified.

Breezy News reported the Mississippi State Crime Lab identified the victims as Frederick Miller, 56, and Lavelle Harmon, 51. Investigators said foul play is not suspected in their deaths.

The fire occurred at a home on on Attala Road 4171 on Thursday, December 5, 2024. According to first responders, the home was fully engulfed when firefighters arrived at the location.

The bodies of Miller and Harmon was discovered inside the home. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
