Central Mississippi

Fleet Feet Coffee Run – Ridgeland – Friday

  • The group usually makes a large loop around the area. After the run, the first round of coffee is free on Fleet Feet!

SCHF Movie Night – Vicksburg – Friday

  • This event will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the Southern Cultural Heritage Foundation. The selected movie is “Little Miss Firecracker.”

Princess Ball – Brandon – Friday and Saturday

  • Get ready for a magical evening at the City of Brandon Princess Ball! The event will be held at the Brandon Municipal Complex.

Dixie National Rodeo – Jackson – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • The Dixie National Rodeo, the largest rodeo east of the Mississippi River, takes place Friday, February 7, through Saturday, February 15, inside the Mississippi Coliseum at the State Fairgrounds.

Of Salt and Spirit: Black Quilters in the American South – Jackson – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • This exhibition will feature over 50 handmade and machine-stitched quilts from MMA’s permanent collection, including Crossroads Quilters, Gwendolyn Magee, and several collected by American photographer Roland L. Freeman on his travels.

Exhibition: Mindbender Mansion – Jackson – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • Enter the wonderfully puzzling world of Mindbender Mansion, an eclectic place full of brainteasers and interactive challenges guaranteed to test the brain power and problem solving skills of even the most experienced puzzlers!

Natchez Little Theatre Presents: Driving Miss Daisy – Natchez – Friday, Saturday & Sunday

  • Driving Miss Daisy tells the story of the 25-year relationship between Daisy Werthan, an elderly Jewish widow living in Atlanta, and Hoke Coleburn, her African American chauffeur.

For the Love of Science STEM Workshop – Jackson – Saturday

  • Mississippi Black MS USA Henrycia Simmons will present the Pet Paint Pawty.

Ignite the Night: Bollywood Night – Jackson – Saturday

  • At the Mississippi Children’s Museum, you will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the vibrant world of Bollywood, surrounded by glitz, glamour, and extraordinary talent. Featured throughout the night will be a specially curated menu, captivating live performances and an immersive Bollywood atmosphere that will leave you mesmerized.

Mississippi Farmers Market – Jackson – Saturday

  • From persimmons to peaches, from bok choy to butter beans, the Mississippi Farmers Market is the one place to go for the freshest fruits and vegetables that are grown in the state.

Treat Trek – Brandon – Saturday

  • Brandon will host the 2nd Annual Treat Trek. Players can visit participating stores where they can draw cards to build their poker hands.

Chocolate Walk – Clinton – Saturday

  • Take a chocolate-filled trip through Olde Towne Clinton. Ticketholders will enjoy special discounts from twelve participating merchants and receive a keepsake tote to collect delicious treats along the way.

Magnolia Classic Dodgeball Tournament – Flowood – Saturday

  • Since its inception in 2018, the tournament has raised nearly $100,000 to fund scholarships for individuals with disabilities, allowing them to attend Joni and Friends Family Retreats.

Krewe of Phoenix Children’s Parade – Natchez – Saturday
