JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after one person was killed during a shooting at an apartment complex.

The shooting occurred at Pine Ridge Gardens Apartments in the 200 block of Rebel Woods Drive just after 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, February 8.

Detective Tommie Brown said the victim was shot at the location and transported to a local hospital. The victim, who was identified as Drewnard Minor, was pronounced deceased at the hospital.
