NESHOBA COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – An elderly woman died during a house fire in Neshoba County.

Breezy News reported the fire occurred at a home on County Road 212 in the Dixon community on Sunday, February 16.

Authorities identified the victim as Martha Moore, 81. Her body was found in a bedroom.

Investigators believe the fire started in or near the bedroom. The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
