HARRISON COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – The iconic beaver signage has gone up around the first Buc-ee’s in Mississippi.

WXXV reported the signage has gone up around the building and at various sports on the property at Menge Avenue in Harrison County.

Progress has been made at the site, including the installation of pumps. Interior work is also moving at a fast pace.

There’s no word on an exact date for the opening, but Harrison County leaders hope it will be sometime during the spring or early summer.

Buc-ee’s Harrison County is expected to bring at least 200 full-time jobs to the area.
