STARKVILLE, Miss. (WJTV) – Two men were killed during a shooting in the parking lot of a Starkville hotel.

WCBI reported the shooting occurred around 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, February 20 outside the Quality Inn on Highway 12.

According to Oktibbeha County Coroner Michael Hunt, both men died at the OCH Regional Medical Center. The two victims have not been identified, but authorities said they did not live in Starkville.

Starkville police are investigating the motive for the shooting.
