WARREN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – There will be lane closures on Interstate 20 in Warren County, according to the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT).
Starting Monday, March 3, crews will begin work on the westbound side of I-20 by placing signage followed by the closure of the inside lane at the Flowers interchange.
The week of Monday, March 10, crews will begin the process of closing the outside lane of I-20 eastbound at the Flowers interchange.
According to MDOT, lane closures are part of a reconstruction project at the Flowers interchange.
In addition to the Flowers interchange reconstruction, a bridge replacement project is underway on I-20 over the Big Black River and reliefs.
Drivers are advised to slow down approaching each work zone, anticipate changing traffic conditions, and pay close attention to posted signage and roadside crews.
