NATCHEZ, Miss. (WJTV) – A man was injured after being shot at a Natchez apartment complex.

The Natchez Democrat reported the shooting occurred at the Holiday Apartments on Sunday, March 2.

Natchez Police Chief Cal Green identified the victim as Charles Jones III, 51. According to Green, Jones had been shot in the lower abdomen and was airlifted from Merit Health Natchez to be treated for a non-life threatening injury.
