RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A motorcyclist was killed during a crash in Rankin County.

Investigator Tyler Burnell, with the Rankin County Sheriff’s Office, said deputies were notified about the crash shortly before 7:00 a.m. on Thursday, March 6. It occurred on Highway 469 near West Mountain Creek Road.

According to the Mississippi Highway Patrol (MHP), a 1995 Honda CBR600, driven by 21-year-old Ethan Clark, of Florence, was traveling north on the highway when it ran off the road and collided with a tree.

Clark was pronounced deceased at the scene. This crash remains under investigation by MHP.
