ADAMS COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Adams County deputies have captured an escapee.

Adams County Sheriff Travis Patten said Micheal Fort, 21, was captured in the Northgate area of Morgantown on Friday, March 7.

According to the sheriff, Fort escaped from the Adams County Jail while serving as a trustee. He was being held at the jail for burglary.

A doorbell camera showed Fort in the Morgantown area earlier in the day.
