JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police have issued an arrested warrant for a suspect in connection to the shooting death of a 15-year-old.

Detective Tommie Brown said Antraveon Kinzey is wanted for the murder of L’Nicholas Harrell. Kinzey will be charged with capital murder.

Police said Harrell’s body was found on Shands Street near Emmanuel United Methodist Church in South Jackson on Thursday, February 27 by someone driving by the area. He was wearing a ski mask when he was found deceased.

According to the investigators, Harrell had been shot in the head. He had been reported as a runaway on Wednesday, February 26.
