JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – One person was killed and another was injured after a vehicle overturned on Interstate 20 in Jackson.

The crash occurred on I-20 at Highway 18 just after 5:15 p.m. on Saturday, March 15.

Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), said a red Cadillac SUV went off of the road and overturned multiple times. Both occupants were ejected.

The victims were transported to the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) for treatment. Brown said one of the occupants, Joslynn Robinson, 27, died from her injuries at the hospital.

The investigation is ongoing.
