JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – The Jackson Public School District (JPS) released the 2025-26 District Calendar.
According to JPS, the district will join several Mississippi school districts that have chosen to adopt a modified calendar that starts a little earlier and allows for more breaks for students during the school year.
JPS students will report at the end of July instead of August. There will be a week-long Fall Break in October.
