Man wanted for stabbing Jackson woman to death inside her home

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police have issued an arrest warrant for a registered sex offender in connection to the stabbing death of a woman inside her home.

Detective Tommie Brown said officers are searching for Denarius McDonald. He will be charged with capital murder.

Brown said the victim, Margaret Washington, 58, was found deceased inside her home on Exchange Drive on September 23, 2024.

Police believe the Washington’s vehicle was stolen by the suspect, and it was later found in South Jackson.

Jackson police previously said they were searching for Anthony Bunzy in connection to this case. Brown said detectives interviewed Bunzy and ruled him out as a suspect.
