JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are searching for a suspect after he allegedly pointed what appeared to be an assaulted rifle at a Jackson police officer in a patrol car.
Detective Tommie Brown said this incident occurred on March 24, 2025. He said Onterrio McDougle was traveling in a vehicle when he pointed the weapon at the officer.
Investigators said McDougle posted a picture of himself on social media that showed him holding the firearm in a “threatening manner.”
According to Brown, a bench warrant has been issued for McDougle on the charge of terroristic threats. Brown said this incident is not connected to the Steven Perry, Jr., case.
