JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson firefighters responded to a house fire on Friday, April 11.

The fire occurred at a home in the 300 block of Lawrence Road around 11:00 a.m.

Assistant Jackson Fire Chief Patrick Armon said the home was vacant, but the home was occupied at the time of the fire.

No injuries have been reported, and the home is a total loss. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
