Woman allegedly fires shots inside Jackson business after argument

JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a woman allegedly fired shots inside a business.

Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), said the incident occurred at Pull-A-Part on Interstate 55 shortly after 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 11.

According to Brown, a woman got into an argument with a customer at the business. Brown said the woman went outside of the store, got a weapon and came back inside. She allegedly fired two shots inside the business.

No one was injured during the shooting. Brown said officers are still searching for the suspect.
