JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A pedestrian was hit and killed on Interstate 20 near Highway 18 in Jackson.

Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (MDOT), said the incident occurred just after 10:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 1.

According to Brown, the unidentified pedestrian was struck by multiple times. He said the vehicles stopped, but it is unknown which vehicle first struck the pedestrian.

No arrests have been made.
