LEAKE COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – A man was arrested in connection to the shooting death of an 18-year-old in Leake County.

Breezy News reported the shooting occurred outside Discount Depot in Carthage around 5:30 p.m. on Friday, May 2.

Carthage police said Leonard Black, 27, of Carthage, was charged with murder in the death of Aquarion Conecin, 18.

Black is being held at the Leake County Correctional Facility.
