RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – The temporary closure on Old Brandon Road in Pearl will begin on Wednesday, May 28.

According to the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT), the closure will begin by 1:00 p.m. on May 28 and last until October 31, 2025.

Both directions of Old Brandon Road between U.S. 80 and Childre Road in Pearl will be closed during that time. The work is associated with the Old Brandon Road bridge replacement project.

Message boards have been installed to alert traffic of the upcoming closure. Drivers are advised to seek an alternate route during the closure timeframe.
