JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A 46-year-old man was killed during a shooting in Jackson.

The shooting occurred in the 4000 block of Hanging Moss Road on Saturday, May 31.

Detective Tommie Brown said the victim, 46-year-old Robert Lewis, was shot multiple times and died from his injuries.

During the investigation, Brown said officers determined that Demonte Swann, 21, was the suspect. He was arrested by police and has been charged with murder.
