JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – A fire destroyed a home in South Jackson.

Assistant Jackson Fire Chief Patrick Armon said the fire occurred in the 300 block of Woody Drive just before 3:00 a.m. on June 5.

According to Armon, a power line also fell during the fire. No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
