JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police said a suspect has been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting.

The incident occurred near Canton Mart and Interstate 55 Frontage Road just before 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 17.

Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD) identified the victim as Keodrick Kincade.

According to Brown, D’Juanya Carter, 26, was arrested in connection to this case. He was charged with murder.
