PIKE COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Pike County deputies are searching for the suspect who robbed a Dollar General.

The incident occurred at the store in the 3100 block of Highway 570 in McComb just after 10:00 p.m. on June 17.

According to the Pike County Sheriff’s Office, a male suspect approached the store shortly after closing time and forced entry through the front door. The suspect, who was described as six-feet tall, was masked and demanded cash while brandishing a gun.

Investigators said the store’s clerk was threatened and instructed to provide cash from the register. He exited the store with an undisclosed amount of money.
