FORREST COUNTY, Miss. (WHLT) – One person was killed and another person was injured during a shooting in Forrest County.

The shooting occurred in the area of Walker Road in south Forrest County on June 25.

Forrest County deputies said one person died at the scene. The second victim was transported to a local hospital.

Investigators did not release any information about a possible suspect. The investigation is ongoing.
