Two Starkville men arrested for fatal shooting at party

UPDATE:

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Oktibbeha County deputies announced Travis Chandler and Devon Chandler were both arrested on murder charges.

They said the two men turned themselves in at the Oktibbeha County Jail around 2:30 p.m. on June 30 and are currently being held pending their initial appearance in Justice Court.

This case remains active and ongoing, and additional arrests may follow.

OKTIBBEHA COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – Oktibbeha County deputies are searching for two suspects in connection to a double homicide.

The shooting occurred during a party on Kincaid Road around 2:30 a.m. on June 29, 2025.

According to investigators, two unidentified victims were transported to OCH Regional Medical Center with gunshot wounds. The victims both later died from their injuries.

Deputies are searching for Travis Chandler, 34, and Devon Chandler, 27, both of Starkville, are being sought on active murder warrants in connection to the shooting.
