JACKSON, Miss. (WJTV) – Jackson police are investigating after a man was shot and killed on July 4.

The incident occurred on AME Logan Street around 4:15 p.m.

Detective Tommie Brown, with the Jackson Police Department (JPD), said the suspect is a woman. So far, no arrests have been made.

The victim was identified as Adrione Triggs, 45.
