RANKIN COUNTY, Miss. (WJTV) – There will be a temporary bridge closure over the Ross Barnett Reservoir in Rankin County.

According to the Mississippi Department of Transportation (MDOT), both directions of State Route 43 over the reservoir will be closed for bridge repair and inspection.

The closure will begin at 7:00 a.m. on July 28 and will last until October 1.

Drivers should follow detour signs to State Route 25 and Interstate 55.
